Spyro Turns 10..........

I didn't know if you guys knew this, but our good old purple friend Spyro is turning 10 years old this year on September 10th. The game came out on September 10th, 1998, and this year on this date will be his 10th anniversary.

Well, unfortunately, the game designers already have a deadline for the release of this game. And, unfortunately, it's about one month after this game's 10th Anniversary. The date that is said to be the release of this game is October 8th, 2008 (in the U.S.A.).

it wouldn't surprise me if it ended up being 2009 in europe.. then again, if I recall correctly it was a French company working on this last addition to the trilogy, so I might actually be lucky this time and get to play the game around the same time as the US.

October 8 is my birthday, but i think its comming out on October 7, which WOULD be October 8 for us in Australia. But yeah, its a shame they wont release it on Sep 10. I hope that DOTD will be a good anniversary present for Spyro!
