Theories on the movie

What do you think the Movie is going to be like?
Well it seems, from what i've read, its going to take place in a very similar timeline to the TLOS timeline, except differences. We dont think that the Dark Master will be the enemy, neither will cynder or gaul, we think a new enemy will come. All we know about them is that they have pulsing red eyes (lol).
What i think the movie needs to be good:
1. A good Twist or actual idea- The movie needs to make up a unique idea or twist (eg Sharktale-a fish who with the help of a sensative shark pretends to be a sharslayer, and get ahead in life) or (eg back to the future- awesome time travel movie) or (the six sence- guy interviews a "crazy boy" who recons he can see dead people, guy turns out to be a dead person himself)
2.connectivity to the TLOS series- It would be nice if the characters kept their personalities and looks, aswell as enemies being the same enemies. Include the spirit gems, and the fury and all that.
3.Good Script- Dont make it lame, throw in some good, new jokes, dont make the story predictable, dont make it kiddy, all that kind of stuff.

Velvet Octopus mentioned that the movie is going to be produced by Wonderworld Studios, which up until now have "Shark Bait" listed as a movie released by them.
Has anyone seen this movie? and if so, is it really as bad as the reviews say?
Velvet further mentions it's by the producers of Eragon. That movie on itself was terrible, but the modeling and animations on Saphira for one were really well done.
At the very least we know it's handled by an experienced company which may be a bit more promising than the worries about it I've heard so far.
The story, I expect, will likely follow along the lines of the new series, as Ratchet already said, of which I know I'm not that great a fan. As long as the animations and models are done to a good standard though, I'll long since be happy. (think Rattatoile, Cars etc.)
Personally, I'd rather see Spyro on the big screen, with a bad movie, than not see him at all ^^;

Hi! I'm a new user here; I was looking for Spyro movie info and I found this place. I needed a new Spyro forum, since Dark Spyro has gotten boring and pointless, and there is only one admin so the whole place is in desperate need of attention.
Anyway, sry for the off- topic comment.
I heard that the Animation Picture Company (Dr. Doolittle4, and some obscure Garfield movie) are making Spyro. If this is true, I'm worried, because those movies and the writers (the Altier brothers) are obscure, and most likely went straight to DVD.
Can anyone tell me when the movie is supposed to enter production?
I think for this to be a good movie Cynder should be tougher than she was in Dawn of the Dragon (no more of this childish fear and uncertainty), and Either Billy West or David Spade should return as Sparx. Wayne Brady just didn't suit him. Also, Sparx should be...oh I don't know...FUNNY?!
